Our heavy duty 8,000kg eight piece recovery kit has been developed for those who demand more from their 4WD experience.

Based on the popular 8 piece standard recovery kit, the premium kit upgrades to an 8 tonne snatch strap and two 4.75 tonne heavy duty bow shackles, an 8 tonne extension strap, and a 12 tonne tree trunk protector, as well as the new look large recovery bag to store it all in.

Each Mean Mother recovery kit has been carefully tailored to include the correct equipment for most recovery situations. Best suited to the 4WD enthusiast who has a winch fitted to their vehicle. Designed to maximise winch capabilities, performance and versatility. This 8 piece kit offers the ability to self recover or perform a snatching recovery.

All Mean Mother snatch straps are tested to meet the highest quality and strength standards. They are manufactured from 100% treated nylon webbing with reinforced eyelets to prolong operational life.

Similar to a rubber band, a snatch strap being stretched between two vehicles generates a kinetic energy pulling force as the strap returns to its original length. The combination of the recovery vehicle pull and the pulling force from the strap creates a "snatching" effect that can heave a stranded vehicle free from being bogged or unable to move under its own power.
